Fanout construction
The catalog distinguishes ruggedized and light-duty fanouts; specify protection, cable construction and indoor/indoor-outdoor use separately.
Interfaces and route
Record end connectors, polish, leg lengths, overall length, jacket and pulling-eye location on the drawing.
  • Check leg lengths, channel numbers and measurement datums against actual cabinet ports.
  • Review route clearance, pulling direction, cabinet entry and connector protection.
